Announcements on PTC sites are on their Main page, Forum, Member page or you receive them via e-mail(rare). When your browser finishes loading PTC page you will see some appetizing offer. Of course this is far from truth, and when you become advanced PTC user, you will realize that. But...

IF SITE ANNOUNCES SOMETHING LIKE :

1. Only premium members will be paid from dd/mm/yyyy
2. We increase payment delays
3. You need to invest to be paid
4. To continue paying we need more premium users
5. Soon we will have instant payment (observe for a week, not more)
6. Post your payment proof on forum or you will not receive next payment
7. We discount the price for yearly membership for example $60 to $5
8. We discount the price for referrals from for example $1 to $0.30
9. Massive DDOS attacks is the reason for the server downtime
10. Site is off/down because of hacker attacks
11. URL is not found/ Account has been suspended


JUST BE CAREFUL, BECAUSE :

* 1, 2, 3 and 4 are just lack of funds, and it means they need some money for paying! What does it indicate? Yes, Ponzi knockin' on the door!

* In most cases 5 is an empty promise, and if it's so, that is a sign of commercial trick to attract more members. Mmmm lets say it directly, they need money from new members, to pay oldest investors - yeahhh Ponzi is here!

* You really need to follow point 6 to receive your cash. PTCs need more baits for potential users, just give them what they want.

* 7 and 8 are funny and if you are not from Mars, we bet you already know that on Planet Earth no one gives anything for free, and if you can read between the lines you will see the blinking truth: Site will close soon, just last donations, please!

* 9,10 and 11 and similar announcements are symptoms of potential Scam. Site is really down by attack and database is broken, or it's a nice message to hide their real intentions - Scaming you!



There are many announcements, some of them are really cool, some admins/owners have really good ideas for improvement, and they really do improve their sites. But the fact is they are too rare, approximately 10 % of all. That's the reason you must be distrustful in every case, until you realize what exactly is the meaning of the announcement.
