Even the site seems to be sustainable you need to do another check to be sure. Ads are the key to do this easily.
You need to check the number of SSAs at PTC site to be sure it is not Scam. Because, as we said, PTC site doesn't earn money by clicks on SSA, but pays to its members.
Type of ads on PTC sites:
- Self sponsored ads (SSA) - Advertise mother's site offers, forum etc., referral links to other PTC site, etc.. PTC site not receiving money after Your click, BUT PAYS FOR IT!
- Commercial ads (CA) - advertising other PTC sites, affiliate or other kind of commercial sites, etc.. PTC receives money after Your click.
- Cheat-checker ads (CCA) - it's not advertising ad, it's anti autoclikers ad! DO NOT CLICK ON IT!

Example :
1. PTC site has pays for click $0.01 and for referral click $0.005.
2. Site have 10 000 active members.
3. Site have 10 ads in total - 4 are SSA, 5 are CA and 1 is CCA.
So, everyday PTC receive 90,000 clicks on ads :
1. 40 000 clicks on SSA. Amount paid to members - $600 ($400 own click+200$ referral click)
2. 50 000 clicks on CA. Amount to pay to members - $750 ($500 own click+250 referral click).
Calculation : PTC has to pay for 24 hrs the amount of $1350 to its members. Then total income to PTC from the advertiser is $20 per 1000 clicks (as our previous example ) - so 50000 clicks is $1000 income for PTC . But PTC has to pay $1350...? Right! PTC is MINUS $350!!!
Now or later, Ponzi Scheme is the only way to survive = future SCAM!Here comes the question : "How to spot SSA"? Just read and watch what ad is supposed to advertise. If its mother's site content - it's SSA. Sounds too easy, yes, most of SSA are easy to spot, but some of them are hidden and You need some techniques to reveal them (Ctrl+u for Mozilla users).
